Vince Maffeo

Celebrating more than four decades of excellence in his career, Mr. Maffeo is highly regarded in
the legal field for his expertise in matters of information technology and cyber security. Now
retired, he concluded his career in 2017 as the executive vice president and general counsel for
Leidos, Inc., and its predecessor SAIC, a global leader in the integration and application of
information technology, engineering, and science. He excelled in these dual roles for over
seven years, drawing from his past executive experience working for ITT, Inc., a diversified
leading manufacturer of highly engineered critical components and customized technology
solutions for the energy, transportation, and industrial markets. While at ITT Corporation, Mr.
Maffeo demonstrated his dynamic skill set through his ability to fill many different roles over his
32 years with the company. Notably, during his time with the firm, he served as Corporate
Senior Vice President & General Counsel.

Mr. Maffeo believes that the technology field is exciting and challenging. He became involved in
this field because it was a good place to make a difference and have an impact. To prepare for
his career, he earned a Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude with Departmental Honors, from
Brooklyn College in 1971. Thereafter, he attended Harvard University, where he achieved a
Doctor of Jurisprudence in 1974. Mr. Maffeo is admitted to the New York State Bar, the State
Bar of California, the Virginia State Bar, the District of Columbia Bar and the State Bar of
Michigan. He is also admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States. He
has remained affiliated with the American Bar Association and local and state associations, and
the Phi Beta Kappa Society.
