Katie Radford
Seasonal First Hand
Katie Radford is a graduate of Webster University’s Conservatory of Fine Arts with a degree in costume design and construction. She has worked in professional theater since 2017, starting in Alaska at the Anchorage Opera and Anchorage’s Local 918. In 2020, she moved to Saint Louis to pursue her degree at Webster and proceeded to work at Shakespeare in the Park, Bard Fisher Center, and Opera Theatre of Saint Louis. Some of the shows she is most proud of include St. Louis Shakespeare Festival’s “King Lear,” designed by Mika Eubanks, during which she built costumes for Andre De Shields. Additionally, at Opera Theatre of Saint Louis, she has created two wedding dresses for both “Treemonisha,” designed by Dede Ayite, and “Così fan tutte,” designed by Amanda Seymour. She is looking forward to getting to know everyone and having a fabulous first season at Gulfshore Playhouse.
