As the Props Master at Gulfshore Playhouse, Elena Romero takes on the communicative and organizational responsibilities in the props department. Elena makes sure the props are safe and appropriate for each show by speaking with the designers, directors, actors, and coordinating with costumes, paint, and carpentry. Coming from an artisanal and design background, Elena also enjoys being hands on with the creative team. Whether it be making furniture, thrift shopping, or painting wood to look like different wood, Elena loves every aspect of being a part of the props team and working alongside such a wonderful crew.
