During this intensive program, you will receive training in acting under the tutelage of professional teaching artists. No prior performance experience is required to audition, but students participating in this program will be expected to learn, grow, and become part of a professional arts community. Enabling all students to participate in our theatre programs
Gulfshore Playhouse Education firmly believes that cost should not be a bar to participation. Named in honor of the beloved, late fur family member of philanthropists Patty and Jay Baker, the Kizzie’s Kids Scholarship Fund enables all students to participate in our theatre programs. Kizzie’s Kids is funded through gifts from generous donors and other grants-based programs. Needs-based scholarships are available to students for after-school and summer programs. Kizzie’s Kids scholarship applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Please note that acceptance of a scholarship does not guarantee program placement. If you are interested in learning more about scholarships, please contact Steven Calakos at scalakos@gulfshoreplayhouse.org.
