Two Pairs of Sisters Unearth Family Dirt Forging Roots in “Mud Row”
“Mud Row” is the work of a playwright a number of Neapolitans have seen in the musical “Ain’t Too Proud—The Life and Times of the Temptations.” Dominique Morisseau tackled that story impressively, intentionally elevating it above jukebox status. In “Mud Row,” she turns her eye toward the fertile ground of familial relations.
Casting Announced for Mud Row
The cast and creative team have been announced for the upcoming production of Mud Row by Tony-nominated playwright (Ain’t Too Proud: The Life and Times of the Temptations) and MacArthur Genius recipient Dominique Morisseau.
Steel Magnolias Extends to December 11
Due to popular demand, Steel Magnolias will extend through December 11, adding seven additional performances. Originally scheduled to close on December 4, the play about community and connection in a smalltown Louisiana beauty salon has already been called “a perfect play” for the season opening.
