Steven Calakos
Director / Director of Education, Gulfshore Playhouse
attended Rowan University and earned his Bachelor of Arts degrees in Elementary Education and Theatre: Child Drama. He is an award-winning teacher and theatre director having taught in Vineland Public Schools in New Jersey for over 11 years. He served as artistic director for several theatre organizations, and co-founded his own theatre production company in 2014. Steven is also a professional actor, singer, and model with national credits, including being a member of Actors Equity Association, producing and performing in three solo concerts, and appearing in several television advertisements and feature films.
