Madelyn Hawver

Madelyn Hawver is a stage manager from Myrtle Beach, SC, and she is thrilled to work with Gulfshore Playhouse for a second season. She graduated from the University of Cincinnati (CCM) with a BFA in Stage Management in April 2021. While working on her degree, she assistant stage managed at local theatres in Ohio and Kentucky, including Know Theatre of Cincinnati and Pioneer Playhouse. Since graduating, she has worked as the production stage manager for Long Bay Theatre (Myrtle Beach, SC), and the Southeastern Summer Theatre Institute (Hilton Head, SC). During her time at Gulfshore Playhouse, she has stage managed several shows for the education department, including Annie, Frozen, Jr., and Chicago: HSE, and assistant stage managed many of the mainstage shows, including 39 Steps, Invisible Hand, and Another Revolution. Some favorite stage management credits include Hello, Dolly!, Bright Star, Crazy For You, and Godspell. Outside of work, Madelyn enjoys running, biking, spending time with friends, mentoring youth at the local high schools, going to the beach, and exploring beautiful southwest Florida.
