Jennifer Burke

Jennifer Burke is pleased to join the team at Gulfshore Playhouse for Sweet Charity. Jennifer has been a dialect coach for fifteen productions at the Maltz Jupiter Theatre; some favorites include Murder on the Orient Express, Billy Elliot, West Side Story, and most recently, The Lehman Trilogy. Since 2009, Jennifer has been a member of the artistic team at the Texas Shakespeare Festival where she has served as voice and text coach for more than twenty of Shakpeare’s plays as well as many classic plays and musicals. Jennifer is the Chair of the Department of Theatre Arts at the University of Miami, and is a Professor of Voice and Speech in the BFA theatre training program. She holds a Master of Fine Arts in Acting degree from Brandeis University and is a certified Associate Teacher of Fitzmaurice Voicework.
