Anything Goes Begins Rehearsals

Today marks a historic moment as Gulfshore Playhouse welcomed 24 actors to Naples, FL for the first day of rehearsals for Anything Goes, the inaugural production in the brand new Baker Theatre and Education Center.

Starring Sarah Bowden (Broadway & National Tour: Moulin Rouge) as Reno Sweeney and Josh Canfield (Broadway: Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812, Doctor Zhivago) as Billy Crocker, the cast includes a stellar lineup of Broadway and National Tour talent.

Directed by Gulfshore Playhouse Founder, CEO & Producing Artistic Director Kristen Coury (Gulfshore Playhouse: She Loves Me, My Fair Lady), with choreography by Sara Brians (Broadway: Matilda the Musical, Billy Elliot, White Christmas) and music direction by Trevor M. Pierce (National Tour: Anything Goes), the production promises to be an extraordinary launch to the theatre’s new chapter.

Anything Goes opens on November 1, 2024, with preview performances starting October 27, at Gulfshore Playhouse’s new home at 100 Goodlette-Frank Road South, Naples, FL.
