David Baida

David Baida (Elisha Whitney, u/s Moonface) is honored to have been cast in the final show at the Norris Center (Sipos in She Loves Me) as well as the inaugural show at The Baker Theatre and Education Center! He was an original Broadway cast member of the Tony nominated musical, On Your Feet (Broadway and 1st National Tour). He originated the role of Piragua Guy on the 1st National Tour of In The Heights, performing the show with Lin-Manuel Miranda in both Los Angeles and Puerto Rico. David was seen Off-Broadway in The Butcher Boy at Irish Repertory Theatre. Regional theaters include Kennedy Center, Goodspeed Musicals, Maltz Jupiter Theatre, Riverside Theatre, Alhambra Dinner Theatre, Sacramento Music Circus, Milwaukee Repertory, Ogunquit Playhouse, Paramount Theatre and Pioneer Theatre. His cabaret show, Unexpected Surprise, won the 2018 MAC Award for New York Debut-Male. David sings on the movie musical soundtracks of In The Heights, Dear Evan Hansen, Tick Tick Boom and Vivo.
