Community Foundation award $250,000 in surprise grants

Money benefits local arts and culture nonprofits, including Marco Island (and Gulfshore Playhouse)

The Collier Community Foundation recently announced surprise grants of $250,000 to 14 arts and culture nonprofits. The money is to assist these organizations to continue their programs and operations after recent state budget cuts.
