Danny White

This is Danny’s first show at Gulfshore Playhouse. Danny grew up in the great state of Iowa and obtained his Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance and Music: Theory-Composition from the University of Northern Iowa. His Masters degree in Orchestral Conducting in Musical Theatre is from the University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music where he conducted performances of Legally Blonde, Carousel, and Lysistrata Jones. In the past ten years, he has toured nationally and internationally with Shrek: The Musical, Fiddler on the Roof, and Beauty and the Beast. Danny has received several awards for and performances of his compositions. His musical adaptation of A Christmas Carol, for which he wrote music and lyrics, ran for several consecutive holidays in his hometown and was aired on public television in 2013. Most recently, he has worked with the touring production of The Lion King since 2016 and the Broadway production since 2019. He continues to offer them his services in many different capacities. Danny enjoys creating electronic music, visiting national parks, hiking, and doing The New York Times crossword puzzle.
