Jane Best

This is Jane’s second time working with Gulfshore Playhouse, she was last in Naples as Music Director for 2021’s STAR Academy Cabaret. She is a music director, pianist, and composer/lyricist originally from the Philadelphia area. Most recently, she was sailing the seas with SIX: The Musical, Burn the Floor, and Jersey Boys on Norwegian Cruise Lines. Jane received an MFA in Music Direction at the University of Montana and a BS in Music Education from Gettysburg College. Her original musical, Welcome to the Void, was produced in the University of Montana’s 2021 MainStage season. Other favorite music direction credits include The Theory of Relativity and Assassins (University of Montana), Cinderella, Pippin, Bonnie and Clyde, and Mamma Mia (Summer Repertory Theatre), and The Drowsy Chaperone (Bristol Valley Theater).
